Why is there such a negative stigma attached to combat veterans suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)? I feel like when somebody finds out that I have PTSD their mind immediately goes to the worst case scenario. I am sure like so many other Americans. I remember vividly where I was and what I was doing on September 11th in 2001.  I was in Army Infantry basic training. I was in week three out of fourteen weeks. We were out shooting at the rifle range when we all suddenly pulled back to the barracks. We weren't told anything initially.
